Half Moon Bay Lodge, Half Moon Bay

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area of Northern California, near Main Street with restaurants and a short distance from the harbour. The rooms are very nice, very comfortable, and very clean, but could have been better for what I paid. The service was exceptional, with the staff recognizing our anniversary and offering a room with a fireplace, adding a nice touch to our stay. The location was lovely, adding to the ambience of the outside toilet/shower area and bathrobes provided, albeit a bit far from the harbor area. The dining experience could have been better with hot meals like eggs and sausages, but was okay overall. The facilities were good, but you may need to be patient for a table in the small breakfast room.

The service was exceptional, with professional and accommodating staff making my stay very enjoyable. The location in Bodega was perfect for my needs, away from busy areas with lovely landscaped areas and fragrant aromas. The dining experience was excellent, especially with Peet's coffee available. Overall, a great value for money.
